Highlights from Monday's meeting:
~ Received Thank you cards from Krasl and Blue Star Mothers for helping out with their projects.  The troop will be sending Thank you's back.
~ Talked about the Thanksgiving feast and how it went.
~ Boys picked the time and place for Summer camp.  Summer camp will be 7/14/19-7/20/19 at Camp Blackhawk on the Owasippe Scout Reservation. 
~ Received information on the Buffalo Bob's meat stick fundraiser.  Orders are due by Dec 10th.  The order form wasn't quite right and the boys made the corrections on their order form but I have attached the corrected flyer for the boys to use.

Upcoming:
~ 11/13/18 - Committee meeting  - 6:00 to load trailer for weekend & 7:00 (or possibly earlier) for meeting (all parents are invited)
~ 11/16-11/18 - Thanksgiving Feast trip
~ 11/17/18  Thanksgiving dinner (around 6:00) followed by the Court of Honor.
~ 12/8/18 - OA Winter Banquet
Announcements:
~ If you are participating in the Thanksgiving feast weekend, please meet at the troop shed behind the church no later than 4:55 pm Friday.  We are planning on leaving at 5:00 to caravan to Tower Hill Camp in Sawyer.
~ If you were not able to turn in your permission slip for this weekend tonight, you need to let us know if you are planning on attending either the whole weekend or just the dinner on Saturday by Tuesday night (11/13/18).  We need an accurate head count so the proper amount of food can be planned.  (permission slip is attached)
~ Committee meeting Tuesday night (11/13/18)  6:00 we will be loading the trailer for the weekend trip followed by the regular meeting at approximately 7:00

Upcoming:
~ 11/10/18 Leaf raking at the church at 9:00 am.  This is our thank you to the church for all they do for us so please plan to attend.  The more scouts we have the easier the raking is.  
~ 11/11/18  Dues are due for the 2018/2019 year  Scouts $89 Adults $34  (form is attached)
~ 11/11/18  Thanksgiving feast permission slips are due (form is attached)
~ 11/13/18  Committee meeting at 7:00 - all parents are welcome to attend
~ 11/16-11/18  Thanksgiving feast camp out at Tower Hill
~ 11/17/18 Thanksgiving feast dinner and Court of Honor  - come celebrate our boys accomplishments from the summer and fall.  (I haven't figured the number yet, but I have a feeling I will be purchasing alot of merit badges this Saturday for the COH.)
Announcements:
~ Will Christy is in need of any pictures you might have from different scouting events you have attended so he can put together a poster for our troops history.  You will be able to submit your pictures through a google doc link.  Once I receive that link, I will send out a message to everyone.
~  I have attached the scout accounts as of 11/5/18 so the boys will know how much is in their accounts.
~ Scouts need to wear their class A's to the meetings unless they are informed otherwise.  If you are in need of a class A shirt, please see Mr. Hill.

Upcoming:
~ Saturday 11/3/18 Blue Star Mothers service project - 10am-2:00pm at the American Legion in Stevensville.  Scouts should wear their Class A's.  They will help with a variety of things and will earn service hours.  (DON'T FORGET TO SET YOUR CLOCKS BACK TONIGHT!)
~ Sunday 11/4/18 Riverview park river front cleanup - 12:00pm-4:00ish  scouts that participate in the river front clean up will earn service hours.  For those who went on the Boundary Waters trip, this time cleaning up with go towards the waterfront service project that you need. 
~ Monday 11/5/18  completed blue cards are due at this meeting if you would like them to be included at the next Court of Honor on Saturday 11/17.
