Meeting Activities
Scouts worked on advancement, unloaded the trailer from the campout and played ultimate frisbee.
PLC Meetings
The next PLC meeting is scheduled for September 7th.  The meeting will run from 5:30 to 7 pm.  Food will be provided for those who attend.  
 
Campout in October
The October 1-3 campout will be at Warren Dunes State Park in Sawyer. Check your email for a link to the sign-up sheet for campers and adult volunteers.  There is also a tab that has suggestions for stuff to bring.

Many adult volunteers are needed for these events to be fun and successful.  Adults will be needed to drive, camp with the troop, pull the trailer, buy food, etc.  Please consider helping out.

A number of the younger Scouts finished rank requirements.  These Scouts need to have Scout Master Conferences to be promoted. The Scout Master Conference sheets can be found here on the Troop website.

Eagle Ceremony for William Bacon
The Eagle Ceremony for Will Bacon is scheduled for October 10th from 2 to 4 pm.
The ceremony will be held at The Chapel EFC (4250 Washington Ave, St. Joseph )
 
Merit Badge Counselors
The troop is in need of merit badge counselors.
 
The need is most urgent for the Eagle required badges….

South Bend Cubs Game
The South Bend Cubs are having a Scout Night on September 3.  It has options to just go to the game (and get a hat), or to stay overnight in the outfield and watch a movie on the big screen.  If you are interested, we need to have tickets purchased by 8/27, so we need to have names, quantities and payment by 8/23. August 20-22 at Lawless County Park (15122 Monkey Run Street, Vandalia, MI)
We will meet at 5 pm on August 20th at the church and will return on the morning of August 22nd.
 
October 1-3 at a location that is to be determined.  If you have recommendations please talk to the PLC.
