Important announcements:

~ 2-3 boys are needed to help at the YMCA this Saturday for Healthy Kids Day.  Boys will help build First Aid kits with the kids.

~ Blossomtime parade coming up fast.  Need to know which scouts will be walking in the parade as scouts.

~  May 8th meeting - mandatory informational meeting for Boundary Waters Canoe trip in 2018 after the regular scout meeting (8:30).  If a scout is interested in this trip, they are required to attend this meeting along with the parent.

~  Camp Tamarack - Mr. Sparkman needs a final count on who is planning on attending this camp at the end of June asap so plans can be made.

~  Plant sale certificates - I will have them at next Monday's meeting.  If you are not going to be there, please let me know so we can arrange a pickup day.  Barbott's opens this weekend so we need to make sure to get those certificates distributed.

Next Monday's meeting will be held at Riverview instead of at the church.

-- 4/21-4/23  Weko Beach camp out -- meet at the church at 5:00 pm (come a few minutes earlier if you would like to help pack the trailer.)   Should be back around noon on Sunday.
-- 4/28-4/30 Bloodroot trail backpacking trip -- Philmont training
-- 5/6  Blossomtime parade - need as many boys as possible to walk.
-- 5/12-5/14  Tower Hill camp out.

A message from Mr.Sparkman:
All those wishing to go to the alternate summer camp at Tamarack from 6/25/2017 to 7/1/2017, please send Kurt Sparkman an email ASAP so he can get a count.  We will need payment 5/1 so we can register before the 5/15 deadline.  Price is = Youth: $259 per Scout (if paid in full by May 15, 2017) after May 15, 2017: $295 / Adult: $115 per adult (no early discount)

1.  Weko beach permission slips need to be turned in at next Monday's meeting. 4/17/17.
2.  Verbal commitment to Mr. Hill for Pioneer Summer Camp (7/30-8/5) by Monday 4/17/17.  Flyers will be passed out at Monday's meeting.
3. Mr. Sparkman talked about summer camp at Tamarack (6/25-7/1)
4. Barbott's Plant Sale fundraiser information was available for those scouts interested.  Money raised will go into the scout's account to be used for the different camps.  Forms must be turned in at next Monday's meeting  with payment.  Certificates will be passed out at the 4/24 meeting.

Don't forget there is a committee meeting tomorrow night. All adults are invited to attend. The meeting normally starts at 7:00 but there will be a few that may be a little late so it will probably be closer to 7:15.
