Highlights from last night's meeting:
~ continued working on the Personal Fitness merit badge
~ Last call for popcorn!  Please email Mrs. Essig if you have popcorn orders by Thursday.
Upcoming:
~ If you weren't able to go to the high school before the meeting for the run, Mrs. Burrow will be available on Friday at 3:00 at Upton for those boys to complete the run.
~ On Saturday 10/27, the river front cleanup will continue.  If you went to Boundary Waters or just need service hours, please plan on attending.  Email or text Mr. Arrans by Friday to let him know you are planning to attend.   
~ Sunday 10/28 Corn Maze at Barbotts.  Meet in the parking lot at 3:00pm.

Class A Uniforms
Help with the unveiling of the KRASL's latest featured art sculpture.  We are being asked to hold a HUGE banner in front to the sculpture until the reveal. The banner is so large we will need at least 16 scouts / adults.  The banner is big but not heavy.

Important note:  This is a BIG event!  All of the big donors, community leaders and the media will be in attendance.  This is a great opportunity to showcase some of the great work Troop 623 is doing for the community. 

Please let Mrs. Giandiletti know if you will be able to attend.

Help tear down the barricade fencing and load it to the truck.

Next week:
~ Monday's meeting (10/22) will start at 5:30 at the St Joe High School to do the running portion of the personal fitness merit badge.  Parents should stay for this portion of the meeting so they can transport their boys to the church for the 7:00 meeting.
~ Final popcorn orders are due next Monday (10/22)

Highlights from Monday's meeting:
~ Barbott's corn maze on Sunday Oct 28th at 3:00pm.  We will be inviting Webelo's to join us.
~ Thanksgiving Feast - Nov 16-18.   We will also have our Court of Honor on the 17th. 
~ Dec - Christmas party (date to be announced later)
~ if some scouts are interested in going patrol camping, they need to talk with a leader to see if they can make it happen.
~ Klondike dates will be announced soon

OA chapter meeting Thursday (10/11) night at 6:30 in Lawrence. All OA members are encouraged to attend.
