~ 1/28 OA election  - Brian Merle will be stepping down as OA representative.  If you are already an OA member and are interested in the position, let Mikhail know.
~ 2/5 & 2/21 Mackinac Honor Guard sign ups - 7:00PM
~ 2/15-2/17 Klondike Derby at Camp Betz
~ 2/25 Meeting will be at the Elks   Club starting at 6:30.  All scouts need to be in their Class A uniforms.   The troop will be receiving money from the Elks that evening and the meeting will end shortly after so parents should stay and wait for their scout
~ 3/2  Merit Badge University at church (see below)
~ 3/23 K-Wings Scout night game $10/person - RSVP to Mrs. Essig by 2/2.
~ 3/25 Court of Honor
~ 6/28-6/30 Triathlon parking fundraiser
~ 7/14-7/20 Summer camp at Camp Blackhawk on Owasippe scout reservation
 
Second Annual Merit Badge University - March 2nd
Please follow the link below to a google sheets document to sign up for what badges you want to take.  The first sheet will show the different badges offered and the teachers.  Then click on Period 1 and choose which badge you would like to work on.  Make sure to click on each Period and enter your choices.  Sign up soon to make sure you get your choices!

~ talked about the Klondike - practice compass skills, fire building skills, proper clothing
~ patrol leaders that were present, started planning for the next meeting
Upcoming:
~ 1/7/19 - OA elections will be held
~ 2/15-2/17/19 - Klondike campout - Patrol guides will be at the 1/7 meeting
~ 2/17/19 - Scout Sunday at First Congregational Church - all scouts should plan on attending.  We need a good turnout to show our appreciation to the church for their sponsorship of the troop.
Announcements:
~ Popcorn money must be turned in at the next meeting on 1/7/19
~ Magic cards are NOT allowed at the troop meetings anymore.  Please leave them at home.
