Outdoor Meeting and Court of Honor on May 3rd
The Troop is not going to be able to meet in the Church basement on May 3rd.  The meeting, and the Court of Honor, will be held outside unless the weather prevents this.  An email announcement will be sent out to cancel the meeting if the weather appears to be too bad to meet outside on Monday. 
The Court of Honor is a formal celebration and all Scouts and adults volunteers should wear their Class A uniform.
Week Long Summer Camp (July 11th-July 17th)
The week long Troop summer camp offering will be July 11th – July 17th at Camp Tamarack in Jones, MI. 

This is the final week to sign up for camp.

Weekend Summer Camp (July 23rd-25th)
The Troop is also planning on sending a group on Scouts to a weekend summer camp at Camp Tamarack.  The dates for this offering are July 23rd-25th.  Please contact Sarah Burrow if you are interested in attending.
 
Scout Master Conference Sheets
Several Scouts asked about Scoutmaster Conference worksheets on Monday.  There is a different worksheet for each Scout rank.  The sheet can be found on the Troop Forms page under the More... menu above.

Meeting Activities
Scouts worked on tying square lashings, thinking of ideas for Patrol Activities and advancements.  Next week Scouts will be playing ultimate Frisbee.  Scouts should wear a t-shirt under their class-A’s.

Rank Promotions
Reuban Lorenz was promoted to the rank of Scout.

Please come dressed appropriately (and bring a chair) to meet outside as the weather permits.

Summer Camp
Summer will be July 11th – July 17th at Camp Tamarack in Jones, MI. Check your email for the link to the sign-up sheet. Fill out a line for each person attending camp.  We’ll send out a link to the credit card site when Mr. Lorenz has it setup.  The cutoff for signups and payments is May 1rst.  After that, we might be able to add at the full price.   If you have any questions call please contact Kurt Sparkman.

Court of Honor
The Troop will be having a Court of Honor on May 3rd.  The Troop hasn’t had one in some time.  The Court of Honor is a ceremony/presentation/celebration of the Scout’s Achievements like Rank Promotions and Merit Badges.    

Meeting Activities
Scouts worked on knots and advancement and played a game.  

THE NEXT SCOUT MEETING WILL BE APRIL 12TH. 

Rank Promotions
Cydney Bacon earned the rank of Tenderfoot.
Harrison Rimes earned the rank of Scout.

Class A Uniforms
Scouts should be wearing their Class-A uniforms to meetings with a shirt underneath so that the Class-A can be removed for outdoor activities (if necessary).
 
PLC Meetings
 Those Scouts who hold elected positions should be attending the PLC meetings.  The PLC meetings are held prior to the regular Scout meeting.  The PLC meetings start at 6:30.
