Highlights from tonight's meeting:
~ scouts went into breakout rooms by patrols
~ scouts were encouraged to work on merit badges.  If you are interested in working on a MB, let Mrs. Marquardt know and she enter the MB under partial merit badge and let you know who the counselor will be.  Counselors: if you "sign off" on a requirement, please send me which requirement(s) and the date and I will enter those requirements as done in TroopMaster. Once we can meet in person, I will print the partial blue cards.
~ talked about what to do for summer camp next year (2021)
~ if you are working on the Social Distancing MB and have been attending the Zoom meetings, Mr. Hill said you have completed all of requirement #5.

~ no meeting next Monday.  We will continuing meeting virtually on June 1st at 7:00.

~ August 3-8 - NOAC (National Order of the Arrow Conference) - CANCELLED - but are planning a gathering at The Summit in VA instead.
~ August 7-9 - 100th Celebration of Troop 623 and First Congregational Church Campout at the Church - tentative
~ August 21-23 - OA Summer Ordeal - tentative
~ October 2-4 - OA Fall Fellowship - tentative - talking about combining this with an Ordeal.
~ November 20-22 - Thanksgiving Feast at Camp Frank S. Betz in Thunderbird Hall and Roman Potempa Cabin.

Announcements:
~ Triathlon has been cancelled this year.  This is our main fundraiser.
~ NOAC has been cancelled.
~ Pathway to Adventure Council has cancelled all of their summer camps for this year.  (Camp Betz, Owasippe Scout Reservation)  We will hear the status of the Michigan Crossroads Council summer camps on May 15th.

Highlights from Monday's meeting:
~ Mr. Hill talked about continuing to work on your ranks while we are off.  Mr.Hill must do your scoutmaster conference for Star/Life/Eagle ranks and for the other ranks, any of the assistant scoutmasters can do your scoutmaster conference.  
~ We talked about working on merit badges that you may already be doing such as reading, art, etc.  Let Mrs. Marquardt know which badge you want to work on and she will get you in touch with a counselor. 
~ talked a little bit about the cyber chip and Mr. Sparkman provided the link to the documents he presented last Monday which should help make it a little easier.
