~ Mr. Bacon gave the Scoutmaster minute to the scouts tonight.  He talked about his experience participating in triathlons and not to give up.

Announcements:
~ The Church is looking to remodel the kitchen and are looking for donations.  The Troop committee will match up to $1,000 of whatever the scouts raise to donate towards the kitchen remodel.  We would like to do this because they have been our sponsoring organization since 1919.  Also, the troop would be allowed to use it for fundraisers we may have towards high adventure trips, etc.  Scouts may donate towards the remodel from their scout account if they like.  We would like to give the donation to the Church on Scout Sunday in February.
~ Matthew Hutchinson from Troop 614 joined us again to encourage those who are OA members to attend the monthly OA meetings in Lawrence.  They are planning many fun activities for this upcoming year.  If you want to attend and need a ride, please let Mr. Hill know.

Upcoming dates to remember:
~ 9/23/19 – completed and signed blue cards are due to Mrs. Marquardt if you want them included in the next Court of Honor
~ 10/7/19 – Court of Honor – parents come see how busy our scouts have been with earning merit badges!

~ The Court of Honor that was scheduled for September 30th has been moved to October 7th due to the church setting up for their rummage sale.  This will give the scouts an extra week to finish any partial merit badges they may be working on and to get completed blue cards signed and turned in to Mrs. Marquardt.  Completed blue cards are now due at the 9/23 meeting to be included in the upcoming COH.
