~ Silas Lorenz presented his 1st class requirement of researching an environmental issue. He talked about if fertilizer was good for the soil.
~ Mr. Hill talked about the neckerchief and the different uses of them besides wearing them. He also suggested the troop start to wear them for special occasions like Court of Honor, walking in the parade, etc
~ Mr. Bacon gave the Scoutmaster minute to the scouts tonight. He talked about his experience participating in triathlons and not to give up.
~ The Church is looking to remodel the kitchen and are looking for donations. The Troop committee will match up to $1,000 of whatever the scouts raise to donate towards the kitchen remodel. We would like to do this because they have been our sponsoring organization since 1919. Also, the troop would be allowed to use it for fundraisers we may have towards high adventure trips, etc. Scouts may donate towards the remodel from their scout account if they like. We would like to give the donation to the Church on Scout Sunday in February.
