Scouts worked on advancement, loaded the trailer for the campout and played ultimate frisbee.
South Bend Cubs Game
The South Bend Cubs are having a Scout Night on September 3. It has options to just go to the game (and get a hat), or to stay overnight in the outfield and watch a movie on the big screen. If you are interested, we need to have tickets purchased by 8/27, so we need to have names, quantities and payment by 8/23. Check your email for the link.
Eagle Ceremony for William Bacon
The Eagle Ceremony for Will Bacon is scheduled for October 10th from 2 to 4 pm.
The ceremony will be held at The Chapel EFC (4250 Washington Ave, St. Joseph )
PLC Meetings
The next PLC meeting is scheduled for September 7th. The meeting will run from 5:30 to 7 pm. Food will be provided for those who attend.
Campouts in August and October
The PLC is currently planning two troop campouts in the coming months:
August 20-22 at Lawless County Park (15122 Monkey Run Street, Vandalia, MI)
We will meet at 5 pm on August 20th at the church and will return on the morning of August 22nd.
October 1-3 at a location that is to be determined. If you have recommendations please talk to the PLC.

Scout Master Conference Sheets
A number of the younger Scouts finished rank requirements as part of the T-2-1 program at summer camp. These Scouts need to have Scout Master Conferences to be promoted.

The troop is in need of merit badge counselors.
The need is most urgent for the Eagle required badges….
