Scout Sunday at the Church! Feb 25th, 9:00am
Scouts should arrive at the Church ready to help out at 9-9:30am on Sunday. Scout’s will wear Class A’s with uniform pants or jeans, greet guests, open doors, operate the elevator, light candles, collect offering, help with the service, and host the congregation after the service in the basement for cake. Use your best behavior!
March 4th, 6pm PLC Meeting
Please come if you are part of the PLC. Let SPL know if you can’t attend.
8:30 - 10am March 31st, Easter Sunday
Will you be in town? If we have enough Scouts, the Church would like us to make a pancake breakfast before the service.
May 11, Blossomtime Parade
Do we have any Scouts not in high school bands that want to march in the parade? Please reply if interested.
Philmont - The Trek assignments are out!
Our two crews will be doing a Strenuous course (#7-11) in the north country part of Philmont in some cool new topographies and activities, and a Rugged course (#7-7) in central Philmont that ends with a hike into base camp. Both Treks include too many activities and sight highlights to list, and our crews need to get ready! They have shakedown trips tentatively on the calendar - please keep up with your Philmont Crew leaders. We do have space to add additional hikers if there is anyone out there still interested - contact Brett Bacon or Orrin Lorenz. Please let Blake know your preferred shirt color.
Mackinac - PLC Finalists have been selected and notified.
All other contingent applicants will be notified by email this week if they are selected to go for 2024. This will be the Troops 63rd year serving on the island!
Summer Camp Details coming soon!
We are going to Cole Canoe Base! Our Summer Camp week is, hopefully, July 21-27. Please email Mrs. Essig if you want to go to camp. She will send you an individualized link to make your deposit so you can choose merit badge classes and water adventures.
