Scouts will elect patrol leaders. Scouts wanting to be patrol leaders need to be at least 1st Class.
January 9th: First Mackinac Call-out & info night.
Remember that this is a program open to all SW Michigan, and if we get more than 54 applicants the selection criteria will be transparent and competitive. Rank is one of the selection criteria - do yourself a favor and rank up! Put in the work at meetings to check off those accomplishments and talk to a scout leader to get them signed off. Returning scouts check your email - you should have received the application so you can have it pre-filled for the call-out night. Contact Mr Lorenz [email protected] with any questions.
January 19th: After the holidays and back to school can be kind of a grind. Sign up for a fun break - Climb Kalamazoo overnight! Climbing, snacking, staying up late with friends. No climbing experience is needed - cost includes equipment, training, 4 hours of climbing. $55 will go to the climbing gym, carpools will be arranged closer to the date. Sign up and fill out this waver. Continue the sign up with the email you receive after this waver. Sign ups will close early January so commit now to a much needed post holiday break! Contact Mr. Lorenz [email protected] with any questions.

July 6 - 13 is our Mackinac week!
We have big troops wanting to go with us, so do your best to get to 1st Class so you can attend. Selection criteria will be tougher if interest is high.
Summer Camp Preferences needed!
Now that we know our Mackinac week, we need to pick a summer camp location and week. Please let your Patrol Leader know when and where you would like to go to camp. Gerber only has 3 weeks this coming summer and the first one is our Mackinac week. Scroll down this link to see 2024 camp options. Week 1 at Rotary is already sold out!
