Meeting Activities
Scouts worked on advancement, planned for October campout, and enjoyed outdoor activities.
The Treasurer reported that the earnings from parking and tent set-ups have been added to scout accounts and that many scouts can now cover their own camp or event expenses. Congratulations to the scouts (and parents) for all their hard work!
Promotions
Landynn Peterson was promoted to 2nd Class.
William Conroy was promoted to Tenderfoot.
PLC Meetings
The next PLC meeting is scheduled for October 5th. The meeting will run from 5:30 to 7 pm. Food will be provided for those who attend.
Leadership Elections
Scouts who are interested in a leadership position should contact Mr. Hill about the opportunities that are available. Elections will be held at the meeting on September 27th.
Campout in October
The October 1-3 campout will be at Warren Dunes State Park in Sawyer. The cost per scout will be approximately $25. Additional adult volunteers will be needed to drive Scouts to and from Warren Dunes. Please let Mr. Walsh know if you can help with the driving. Also please let Mr. Walsh know if you can pull the trailer to and from Warrren Dunes.
Check your email for the link to the sign-up sheet for campers and adult volunteers. There is also a tab that has suggestions for stuff to bring.
Thanksgiving Campout and Dinner
The troop is currently planning the Thanksgiving Campout. The dates for the event are November 19th-21st. The location is TBD. Please mark your calendar. More details will follow.
Scout Master Conference Sheets
A number of the younger Scouts finished rank requirements. These Scouts need to have Scout Master Conferences to be promoted.

Eagle Ceremony for William Bacon
The Eagle Ceremony for Will Bacon is scheduled for October 10th from 2 to 4 pm.
The ceremony will be held at The Chapel EFC (4250 Washington Ave, St. Joseph )
Merit Badge Counselors
The troop is in need of merit badge counselors.
The need is most urgent for the Eagle required badges….
