Scouts worked on advancements, finished repairing the sleds, and packed the trailer for the Klondike. We need a new Scoutmaster. Please contact Bobby Hill if interested to learn more.

Ian McKim was promoted to Tenderfoot
Klondike Derby Feb 9-11, 2024
Meet at the Church on Friday Feb 9th at 4:15pm to finalize packing the trailer. Fill out the attached health forms AB and the permission slip and bring it Friday. Scouts are responsible for securing their own rides to and from the Rod and Gun Club. The trailer will leave at 4:40pm to get there when registration opens at 5pm. Remember to check out a tent and tarp from the quartermaster if you need a tent for this event. It looks muddy, so try to find proper footwear. Costs are being calculated ($15 for event + ? for 2 meals + $5 for Sunday Breakfast), the troop needs to provide breakfast and dinner for Saturday, and everyone brings a can of soup, also bring $5 each to eat the awesome breakfast on Sunday hosted by the Rod and Gun Club. Scouts will return to the church around 10:30-11am Sunday. Scouts may call/text if this time changes. Text Blake Bacon if you want to cook at this event to complete requirements for Cooking Badge.
Monday Feb 12, regular meeting 7pm
Scouts should plan on helping Mr. Dansfield set up the displays so they are up for the Packs Blue and Gold ceremony and unpacking the trailer. Mrs. Rusbasan will be here to go over Cooking, and Citizenship of the World requirements with any Scouts that need to get these signed off.

July 6 - 13 is our Mackinac week!
We have big troops wanting to go with us, so do your best to get to 1st Class so you can attend. Selection criteria will be tougher if interest is high. 39 applications have been turned in so far.
Summer Camp Preferences needed!
Now that we know our Mackinac week, we need to pick a summer camp location and week. Please let your Patrol Leader know when and where you would like to go to camp. Gerber only has 3 weeks this coming summer and the first one is our Mackinac week. Scroll down this link to see 2024 camp options. Week 1 at Rotary is already sold out. We want to decide by next week!
