Scouts Of The Year
(Jeffery Hadl Award Recipients)
Each year the Scoutmaster and other adults get together to choose a scout of the year. (Or sometimes multiple.) The name of this award is based on Jeffery Hadl, who served as Assistant Scoutmaster, Advancement Chair, and numerous other roles for Troop 623. He worked to bring this scout troop to where it is now, and we are incredibly grateful for everything he did for us.
Every scout on this list has been a strong leader, helped the troop in countless ways, and has, in their own way, shaped our troop into what it is today. This award is to thank them for all of the hard work they have done for our troop and for scouting as a whole.
