Highlights from tonight's meeting:
~ scouts put away supplies and equipment from the canoe trip
~ Triathlon is this weekend. Scouts staying overnight need to bring a pillow and a sleeping bag as they will be staying at the Norland's house. Adult sign ups have been added to the Triathlon sign up sheets. Please sign up, we need 3 to 5 adults for each time period.
~ We are having a normal meeting next week (7/1) with a PLC meeting at 6:30.
~ No meetings the following two weeks (7/8 & 7/15) due to Mackinac and Summer Camp.
~ Physicals must be turned in for both Mackinac and Summer Camp by next Monday 7/1.
~ This year's high adventure was a success, we need help planning next years high adventure. The planned event for now is White Water Rafting and we're thinking about applying for Philmont for the following year. We need parental help and support to keep our program going.
~ Please spread the word that we have a girl's Troop along with our Troop. Recruiting is very important.
Eagle Project help needed this Wednesday
We will be working on my Eagle project at Roosevelt Elementary School on Wednesday (June 26th) from 6:30 PM-9:00 PM and would appreciate some assistance. We will be installing the patio and pulling weeds. Please bring work gloves and shovels if you have them. Meet by the front office. We will provide water and snacks.
