Troop happenings:
-Adopt-A-Family- As a troop, we are participating in the Salvation Army's Adopt-A-Family program for the holidays. The Salvation Army has given us two families to "adopt" for the holidays and provided information about the families- kids' ages, clothing sizes and the types of toys they like. We will also be providing a holiday meal for both families. If you would like to participate, Mrs. Maynard has a list of the items the families need. Please contact her by email at brmayn@yahoo.com or see her at the troop meetings. We are asking that the items be brought to any troop meeting between now and December 7th. We will set a date for scouts to deliver the gifts to the families mid-December, which is always a rewarding experience.
-Climb Kalamazoo Lock-In: What- stay overnight at Climb Kalamazoo and do some rock climbing! Scouts 13 and over can earn the Climbing Merit Badge. Scouts that already have the merit badge or are under 13 can still come and have fun rock climbing! When: January 23 at 8:00 PM to January 24 at 8:00 AM. Cost: $38.00 per scout. Information will be posted to the website or contact Mrs. Maynard.
