Scout Master Minute for 2/1/2021
Scout of the Year Awards
This year Mr. Hill broke from tradition and decided to recognize 3 Scouts for the Scout of the Year.
The recipients of this year’s awards were Nathan Sparkman, William Bacon and Dylan Walsh.
Congratulations!
Elections
Mr. Hill also discussed elected positions. Elections will be held on February, 22nd. The positions for available include:
Senior Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader(s), Librarian, Historian, Quarter Master and others
Class B Uniforms
Class B uniforms were passed out at the meeting. If you ordered Class B uniforms and did not receive them please contact Mr. Sparkman. Also, we did end up with one extra Class B t-shirt for the Timberwolves Patrol. The shirt is a size small. If your Scout is in the T-wolves patrol and wants a small Class-B please see Mr. Walsh.
Summer Camp
We are targeting the week of July 11th-17th for summer camp. As stated last week, we will need adult volunteers to go to camp with the Scouts to maintain the 2-deep leadership requirements. Adults who attend camp must be registered as volunteers with the BSA.
Next Meeting
The next meeting will be Monday, February 8th at the Church.
