Highlights from tonight's meeting:
~ Mikhail gave a presentation of his trip to Lansing as part of the delegation of scouts that update the legislators and governor on scouting in Michigan.
~ talked about the Weko campout. The scouts made suggestions of things to do different for the next camp.

~ talked about having a PLC meeting before every scout meeting at 6:30. If a scout has a school activity at that time, they just need to communicate this to Mr. Hill. If your scout is not currently in a leadership position, they are welcome to attend to see what it is all about.
Upcoming:
~ 5/4/19 - Blossomtime parade - if you are not marching in a band, plan on walking with the scouts. It is a great opportunity for the community to see the scouts and leaders in the community. Meet Mr. Dansfield at 10:00am on the bluff across from the library. Scouts should wear their Class A's.
~ 5/5/19 - First practice for the Mackinac Honor Guard. Practice starts at 5:00pm at the Whirlpool parking lot. Please arrive at 4:45 dressed in your Mackinac Honor Guard Class A's.
~ 5/7/19 - Troop Committee meeting at 7:00 at church. All adults are welcome to attend.
~ 5/19/19 - Crop Walk - scouts help set up tables, etc and will earn service hours.
~ 5/19/19 - Second practice for the Mackinac Honor Guard
~ 6/15/19 - Flag retirement ceremony at 11:00 at the Elks Lodge
~ 6/15/19 - Eagle Court of Honor for Dominic and Jonah at 5:00 at the church.
~ 7/14/19-7/20/19 - Summer Camp - if your scout wants to go but hasn't signed up, it isn't too late. Please contact Mrs. Burrow as soon as possible as the final payment to get the early bird fee is coming up soon.
