Highlights from tonight's meeting:
~ Helped clean plastic crates for the church's rummage sale. The scouts earned 1 hours of service time for helping.
~ heard results from last week's election. (see below)
~ final preparations for Weko campout. Scouts need to meet at the church on Friday at 5:00. Make sure to bring clothing that you can get paint on. The service project will involve some painting. Scouts should also pack for the weather and it was recommended that they bring 2 pairs of shoes. Also, a 5 mile hike is being planned for those who are in need of a 5 mile hike for advancement.
Upcoming:
~ 4/26-4/28 - Weko campout - be at the church at 5:00 on Friday,
~ 4/29/19 - PLC meeting at 6:00 for all the new positions.
~ 5/4/19 - Blossomtime parade - if you aren't marching in band, please plan on walking with the scouts. You should wear your Class A's and meet on the bluff by the Boulevard Hotel at 11:00
~ 6/15/19 - Flag retirement ceremony at the Elks Lodge at 11:00 am. Please wear Class A's.
~ 6/15/19 - OA Eagle Court of Honor for Dominic and Jonah. This will be at the church at 5:00 pm.
~ 6/28-6/30 - Triathlon parking fundraiser
~ 7/6-7/13 - Mackinac Honor Guard - spots are still available if your scout wants to go. Scouts must be at least 2nd class and have the approval from Mr. Hill. First class and above do not need Mr Hill's approval. First practice is May 5 at the whirlpool parking lot.
