Scouts worked on advancements, planned the packing list, duties, and menu for Weko, and played a game outside. Pick your badges for Summer Camp! Instructions below. Mr. Hill is traveling so Mr. Bacon is acting as Scoutmaster.
Scouts need to stay out of the main floor of the church. You can come in and leave that way but don't go there any other time, use the restrooms on the basement level.

Join the Conservation District for an Ox Creek Clean-Up as part of our Earth Day celebration on
Saturday, April 22. Volunteers will be meeting at Hall Park in Benton Harbor at 12:30 pm and plan to spend about an hour to 90 minutes cleaning up the creek and nearby mall area. Gloves and bags will be provided, and a few chest waders will be available for anyone who wants to help with the more marshy areas.
All volunteers will need to fill out and sign waivers, and any youth helpers must have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Mackinac Trip: Update and we still need more Scouts
Mackinac Service Update: Preparations are going along very well to schedule. The Mackinac Senior PLC is named (congratulations Dylan and Blake), and the other PLC finalists are invited to further training (Congratulations Eric, Jackson, Levi, Emmet, Shane). PLC members have training April 14-15th, and all Mackinac attendees have training coming up April 30th. Please check emails from Mr. Lorenz for details.
You can still join! Original details below.
Our time at Mackinac is July 15-22, 2023. It is $200 per Scout. Contact Orrin Lorenz if interested. The troop has some extra shorts, shirts, and red jackets so check with us before buying more. If you have some you have outgrown, please bring them to help others. Scouts need to be at least 1st class. See attached info.
Summer Camp at Camp Rotary: Week of July 23-29, 2023, Badge selection is open!
Fill out the “SummerCamp23” form and bring it with payment if you haven’t already! We want to get our deposits and badge selections in ASAP, since the selection window is open and some badges are already full. See other attached files for badge options and the sheet to list your selections. If you already paid, check the guardian’s email for a message from Mr. Hill or Mr. Lorenz with your link to update Scout info. After clicking on update info, scroll down and you can start selecting sessions (easier to do from a computer). Each Scout has a different link so be sure you are using the matching link for the right Scout and that auto correct/fill doesn’t put in a parent’s name where the Scout’s should be (totally not speaking from experience, oops, but easily fixable.) Just be careful not to unselect your wanted session by mistake and losing your slot. You can click “Done” any time and come back and fix anything needed later.
Please see attached links and files for more camp info. https://scoutingevent.com/272-crsbsarc2023
